The Bickley Rivera Island Chill Band was created by innovative recording artist Bickley Rivera. The Bickley Rivera Island Chill Band quickly captured global interest since the release of Bickley Rivera’s debut album “Chillin’ After Five”.
The Bickley Rivera Band has been performing mostly reggae music, with soca, calypso and more recently developed her unique steelpan Nujazz. The Bickley Rivera Island Chill Band has appeared on television and many large-scale festivals.
Bickley Rivera’s music and interviews have aired on radio stations in over 50 countries. In Bickley’s previous group, she and her husband originated and produced “Caribbean Madness”, the only Caribbean Riverboat Cruise series on the Connecticut River, which sold out for 5 seasons. Bickley Rivera and her band The Island Chill Band have opened for national groups, such as “America” and performed with international artists, Tony “Kitch” Paine (son of legendary Lord Kitchner), Jazz singer Joan Cartwright, Eugene Grey (touring guitarist for reggae-star Burning Spear) among others.
The Bickley Rivera Band has performed in the Northeast, Midwest, Southeastern United States and Bahamas and will be touring to Connecticut in July 2012. The Bickley Rivera Island Chill band are a favorite among corporate events, festivals, resort properties, and even weddings.
